Increasing Public Awareness about Lupus and Low Vision
Currently, public understanding regarding the realities and challenges faced by individuals living with autoimmune conditions and our visually impaired friends is still quite limited. Receiving a physical diagnosis is not the end point, but rather the beginning of a long journey of effort where they choose not to blame their circumstances. With firm determination and hope, they continue to step forward to create, work, and maintain their spirit of life every single day.

This annual series of educational programs serves as a bridge of complete understanding between them and the broader community. The presence of this program is a tangible symbol of our commitment to erasing negative stigmas through enlightening education. Through proper understanding, we are able to nurture a safe and empowering environment for one another.
Program Scope
- Integrated Educational Campaign: Organizing annual public socialization events that coincide with the momentum of World Lupus Day in May and World Sight Day in October.
- Inspiring Webinars & Talkshows: Two-way discussion sessions online maupun offline highlighting real stories about implementing the Bertahan Bahagia
- School & Campus Visits: Direct face-to-face education at educational institutions to instill understanding and empathy from an early age in the younger generation.
- Social Media Literacy: Spreading factual and positive information related to autoimmune conditions and visual impairments through digital platforms to expand the educational reach.
