As the World Moves Digitally, Not All Students Start from the Same Line
This gap in access to digital education is clearly diagnosed in many Indonesian schools, from big cities to rural areas, including for visually impaired students who are often left out of opportunities to learn coding. This is not to blame the circumstances, but to acknowledge that the opportunity to learn technology is not yet equally distributed for all children.
GESSIT is here as a bridge to close that gap. Through the STEAM method and inclusively designed classes — including the SDF Coding Camp for The Blind — every student, regardless of their physical limitations, receives an equal space to grow into a capable and confident digital generation.

Program Scope
- STEAM-Based Digital Literacy Training: Covering 5 domains: digital safety & resilience, digital agency participation, digital emotional intelligence, creativity, and digital innovation.
- Free Mentorship: Dedicated to Elementary (SD), Junior High (SMP), and Senior High/Vocational Schools (SMA/SMK) across various cities in Indonesia.
- SDF Coding Camp for The Blind: Special coding classes for visually impaired students, divided into three levels: Basic, Intermediate, and Advance.
The program is conducted online so that participants from various regions can join without distance limitations. It is fully supported by corporate CSR funds as well as donations from organizations and individuals who care about the development of Indonesian human resources.
